Abhishekam at Swami’s Shrine

Om Sathguru Sri Seshadri Swamigal Thiruvadikkae

On the 17^th. of September, 2010, at about 4:45 p.m., members of the Sesha Bhaktha Samaajam arrived at Guruji’s Samaadhi Shrine.

Guruji’s Shrine is located a little ahead of the Simha Teertham, adjacent to the Yama Lingam, on the Girivalam path.

With Sesha Mahaan’s Moola Mantram and endearing thoughts of our Beloved Guruji in our hearts, remembering the time when Guruji was interred at this spot, (in the twilight hour,) at about 6 p.m., on the 2^nd. of August, 2010.

We gathered here in silence.

We started by cleaning and washing the Shrine with water, and decorating the outer shrine with flowers.We began with performing Abhishekam (anointment) with water.

This was followed by Milk Abhishekam and

Abhishekam with Sandalwood paste.

Finally, an Abhishekam of Vibhuthi (Sacred ash) was done.

This was followed with a decoration of the Shiva Lingam with flowers.

Aarti, with Dhoopam and Deepam, was performed to our Sathguru and Swami, and Sesha Mahaan, and the grand Arunadri facing our Swami’s Shrine.

Offerings of fruits were made, and Prasaadam was distributed to all Bhakthas and Sishyas of Mahaan and Swamiji.
